1976 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT 4x4 high boy with 453T Detroit Turbo Diesel This is an older diesel conversion which means all the bugs have been worked out over the years.It has a Detroit 453T ( turbo) diesel mated to a Spicer 5 speed transmission along with a Mitchell gear splitter.It has unmarried 205 transfer case. The rear end is a Dana 60 up front is a big hub Dana 44 with warn hubs. The interior is in great shape, the door panels and dash have no cracks or sun damage, the headliner is in great shape and the seat has just been reupholstered. It has a extra 80-100 ? gallon fuel tank in back bed.It has an era correct canopy which I like, but some people don't like them, if you prefer I can keep it and save you the trouble or disposing of it. The body has some bumps and bruises and some rock chips but overall in great shape, there is no rust at all ! the floor pans along with the cab corners,drip rails and bed are solid. It drives out great with the brand new tires (less than 200 miles) Its shifts easy doesn't pull one way or the other and has plenty of get up and go!! There's something about a diesel and this is no exception they just sound great, in between a 12 valve and a common rail a sound that just gives you the shivers!! This is a 41 year old original truck there's bound to be some imperfections one being the shut of cable nob is broken and we use pliers to get the job done.
