Vehicle Detail

Can't believe we're selling our unique "Pimp My Ride", customized Rat Rod, Custom Car 1976 Pacer. WOW... talk about a head turner. Sad for us. Moved to Ocean... Selling because Ocean Air starting to cause lite rust spots around the car and paint, which is only reason I'm selling the car. Side view mirrors and wheel hubs have some rust that can probably be steel wooled off pretty easily. Please ask questions, request more pics (some of these are 2-3 months old) or call me or come see the car. Need to sell before more ocean air wear and tear. Interior is like new. Too cool a car to let that happen to.If it doesn't sell I'm taking it off ebay after the auction and fixing it up for myself. YOU CAN CALL ME WITH QUESTIONS.... three two three eight 64 seven0six two. Just jumped and started and engine is running fine (today is Tuesday).Took her on Freeway. Did 55-60 mph. But would be happy with a tune up.Though it does need a tune up-the carburetor needs adjusting so car starts up easier. Not a difficult thing to do. I put a ton of money into successfully getting our Pacer California Smog compliant (July 28, 2016)... but have not used car in a while. Then decided to just keep going with the mechanical updates and new interior. Originally paid $4,500 without new interior and smog and engine work. I've now put close to $11,000 plus in updates to the car .... you can see some of the receipts in the pics. AUCTION IS "AS IS". And Suggest coming to look at car before bidding or buying. Does 55-65 miles per hour on the freeway... great local of course.Love taking it on local trips. Major head turner. The Car is hand pinstriped in red. The skull on the hood is awesomely hand painted. The Interior is redone... Red Shag carpets. Black and white custom seats both front and back. The steering wheel is custom chromed chain... really stunning.Matt Black paint. Some scuffs and starting rust spots around the car that could use touch up. If you want more detailed description or photos just ask or come see the car. There are more custom skulls on the inside... like the door locks, Cigarette lighter etc. While the interior and exterior (except for side door panels which are original) have been custom done up, the inside of the hood is not painted and the engine compartment is not painted or chromed and inside moulding area of hatch back also wasn't painted. Easy to complete with some spray paint...Lots of things have been upgraded and replaced... again, living by the ocean is not where she should be. Car has been not used in 5 months so needs engine tuning. They didn't bring body to perfection before customizing... intentionally. Lite fading to matt black because of ocean... And as I said, that's the main reason for selling the car. As long as someone gives it a home away from the salt air elements can be dealt with without huge work. Very cool looking and ready to spiff up. For sure, you'll never see another Pacer even close to this coolness There was a female Devil decal that was on the passenger door that had faded already when we got the car... Might want to put a new one over it (or not).... we like it as is. Drives really fine on the freeway. Passed California Smog after lots of restoring. The Air conditioning works but weak. May need recap of air conditioning fluid. Things to replace: One driver side window handle, one side view mirror and antenna needs replacing (easy to find on ebay). You might want to replace the rubber molding around windows some day. They're ok but why not eventually replace. Come see it if you'd like. Worth seeing even if you don't buy it. low starting bid with no reserve. Again... you will need to clean off manageable and easy to clean rust from car because of living on the ocean. I'm in Ventura, Ca. If you're not sure or feel clear about my description... ask questions before buying.I do have the Pink Slip in hand. I DON'T DELIVER ... YOU WOULD NEED TO PICK IT UP OR ARRANGE ON YOUR OWN FOR SHIPPING TO YOU. We've had so much fun with her...this is a Fun and Happy Car that really wants a new fun owner. UPDATE: Sad for me to believe but someone stole the small round hubcaps the last week and rims that were under hubcaps starting to show some surface rust which I'll wash off before pick up. Shouldn't show once hubcaps replaced. Actually, just took some steel wool and did a few sections and rust comes off pretty easy. But who ever buys the car I'll credit them $50 off the final sale price. What a Cool Cool Car. THE CAR MUST BE PICKED UP EITHER THIS THURSDAY OR FRIDAY..... OR NOT UNTIL NEXT THURSDAY ON.... On Jan-25-17 at 12:39:18 PST, seller added the following information:

IN ANSWER TO A QUESTION ABOUT THE CAR:Pretty sure in my description... But if not I'll put it there and thanks. The car was NOT on the showit WAS done up by the "Pimp My Ride" crew... from what I understand given to a friend or theirs or done for a friend. I got it from one of the top film car rental biz's that supply all kind of cars for films. He, the owner that sold his share to retire, had the car at his estate sale cause he couldn't take it to Florida with him.I snapped it up faster than.... well, fast. It really looks great and the interior is super right on.I now live on the ocean... pretty cool, just somehow ended up here. Anyway, it sucks for a car... so this one has some lite rust spots starting that could easily be sanded and touched up... So anyway... ask away!
