The Passat is a great car. I will start off by saying it performs well and I will break down each category as your buying sight unseen. I would not hesitate to drive it home to Colorado. The car is located in Amherst, Ohio. Exterior- It is almost 14 years old and it does have some body flaws. First off, It has absolutely no rust on, under or in engine bay. It does however have a few dents and scratches. I have pictured all flaws of the body. Please look at these photos. Original paint shines like new. No fading or any paint touched up. Interior- Carpets are in great condition and so are floor mats. The leather is great with wear on driver seat. The headliner does not sag at all and is very clean. All the buttons are nice with no fading or anything missing. I had my dog in the tailgate portion in between groomers. No foul odors. Engine- Sounds great at startup and while driving. No smoking. No leaks. Doesn't use any fluids. Engine bay is very clean. Transmission- Shifts great through all gears. The clutch grabs strong. It grabs a little high, but what Passat doesn't? There is alot of life left in the clutch. Brakes- Has newer pads, rotors front. Stops great with no pulsating. It stops straight with no pulling. Undercarriage- Has no rust. Nothing leaking. No damage. Suspension- Very tight over bumps with no noises. The tie rods and ball joints look great and are not leaking CV grease. Drives straight with no pulling. Steering wheel is straight. Exhaust- Original exhaust sounds great. No issues. Electronics- All electronics function and light up as they should. There are no warning lights on the dashboard. All lights work. All power functions work as they should. No issues. Tires- Roughly 90% tread life left. Michelin Tires
