For sale is a 1955 Mg TF 1500 with original motor and head. This car is a numbers matching from what I understand is had to find. The car is very clean and came out of a heated garage stored for the last 30 years.... The car received a engine rebuild in 1980 and then was put in storage and not run again until now. We flushed all fluids, rebuilt master cylinder. The car received all new cap and rotors as well as plugs and wires. The motor purrs and has tons of power. The head is original and not a 1200 head which I am told was often swapped out. The gear box shifts smooth thru all gears. all lights and gauges except clock and speedometer work (we installed a new cable but the problem must be in the gauge) The car has original 48 spoke wire wheels and tires all hold air but should be changed due to age before a long drive. The interior is very nice condition as is the top with only minor dirt (should clean up very nice)... In short you have a very desirable matching number 1500 TF that you can drive all summer or restore to show quality...
