1978 Ford F250 Crewcab Short bed XLT Ranger Trailer Special 2WD, 460 V8, Auto Trans, A/C. I bought this truck a month ago, it had been sitting for years, put in a new battery and fuel pump and fresh gas and got it running. It runs very rough, carb definitely needs rebuilding, also sounds like bad exhaust manifold on one side. Valve cover gaskets are leaking. No spare tire but does have the mount for underneath. Has good oil pressure and does not run hot.Drove it down the street and steering and brakes worked OK.This truck is NOT drivable and road ready, bring a trailer or tow truck. Tires are 9.75x16.5 and are very dry rotted but they do hold air. Truck has very little rust, please look at all the pictures. Looks to be original and stock. Found paper work in glove box on rebuilt Transmission from Aamco 2,000 miles ago. Odometer reads 20,565, but who knows. Previous owner says rear fuel tank leaks and the white 2-tone was silver from factory. Tailgate is rough but still functions. Dash pad is cracked all up. I have owned several of these crews and this one is in pretty good shape. Sold as is where is, I do not ship. Please don't ask the reserve. Clear Virginia Title in my name.
