1972 K5 Blazer - NO RESERVE AUCTION: Up for sale is my 1972 K5 garage kept Blazer. This thing is a GO MACHINE. I'll start with the meat and potatoes. She runs a Chevrolet small block 350 cui motor with Edelbrok carb tied to a Muncie SM365 4 speed transmission. 4 wheel drive works great with locking front hubs. The rear axle is a GM 14 bolt and the front a GM 12 bolt. Dual steering stabilizers and a Red Head steering box, and custom torsion bars throughout. She wears a pair of LT315/R16 Hancock MTs, in good condition with a full size spare tire mounted on a tailgate rack complete with a 5 gallon Jerry can. Custom front bumper fitted with a Mile Marker SI12000 winch. Original Chevy olive green paint, with a refinished black interior she is a beauty and very comfortable to drive. I have recently mounted some of the small side view mirrors from this era of truck, as well as a new stereo with bluetooth connectivity and hands free calling. She is also currently wearing her Soft Topper removable black top. There is some rust noted on the rockers, but seems to be localized in this area. Clean and clear Washington State title and current tabs, 100% road ready. I use her as a daily driver and have commuted regularly 200-300 miles a week without any issues, but mama doesn't think it fits well for an infant in a car seat (my loss your gain)! Mechanically she is rock solid, recent oil change and ready to GO. I have her listed for sale locally, so reserve the right to pull from the auction.
