On Mar-23-17 at 14:48:03 PDT, seller added the following information: The truck is setting on a 1982 Chevy S10 reg cab long box chassis so it has new disc in front and new drums in rearOn Mar-28-17 at 09:41:50 PDT, seller added the following information: response to question Fantastic truck. As I read the ad the truck really has no issues in regards to hitting the highway and going. I would be good driving back to Arizona? If so, you may have just sold a truck.Thanks. One of the last show we went to was in Mahtowa, Minnesota which is just over 100 miles from home so we put just over 200 miles on that day. it ran fine not the best mpg (about 14mpg) but ran good, no over heating. you should keep and eye on the oil (it" an old engine) and don"t push it to hard I would try it. just make sure you have your AAA card with you. I think i could do it in 4 days but it would be up to you. just remember it is a rat rod. No major rust holes, cab mounts are good, floor is in good shape. it is mounted on 117"wheelbase 1982 chevy s10 cab and floor including the bed, all metal, it is a true rat rod, not a lot of body filler, at this time there are no hood hinges mounted on it now but will be included in sale. also needs to have new temp sending unit installed, part included. speedo is not working (no cable) I use GPS on my phone. it runs and drives down the road great. the bottoms of the front doors had to be cut off so they would fit the s10 floor Sorry i have no photos of underneath. New cab mount where made for the 64 and used original frame mounts and body of the 64 was made to fit and welded to frame. The 64 is a 114 wheelbase and the frame is a 117 WB so 3" difference but it left room for the side exhaust to come out, (works great) It is a fun old truck to drive and will cruise down the freeway 75 to 80 MPH with no problem. I have had it up to 92 MHP on my GPS. I had lots of action on it last year at the car shows. I build one car a every year and my rat rods always get more interest than any of my shiners. Of course i will go over all the details that I no about the truck with the new owner.
