Vehicle Detail

1986 Fiero GT. A real GT. 2.8 V6 4 speed manual transmission. This car has been parked in an indoor storage unit since appx 2002. Miles are actual. Previous owner claims meticulous maintenance. Never missed a service interval, drove it for pleasure only on fair weather days. It needed brake work so he put it in storage, and just never got back to it.Interior is in amazing condition! No worn seat bolsters, tears, rips, cigarette burns at all. Sunroof car. Some frosting of the rear plexiglass (or acrylic?) sail panels. No cracked or broken glass.I recently purchased it, brought it home, and performed the following work: New brakes all the way around. New Shifter cables. New alternator, and belt. New fuel pump and fresh fuel. New Tune up and oil change. 4 new tires.Newer battery. New Master and Slave cylinders for the clutch. Clutch is fine. No slippage. Engages firmly. Check engine light is OFF and has no stored or pending codes. The car is fast, fun, and reliable. Fires right up on the 1st try, cold or hot. Has a great sound! No Smoke or unusual noises. It sounds strong. The air conditioning compressor is seized form sitting, so I cut the belt. There was a Hypertech Chip installed in the ECM, with the stock chip stored carefully in a bag. I swapped out the chip, replacing it with the original, to run Regular gas. The Hypertech chip requires Premium, and could be put back in within minutes. It is included with the car. Everything seems to work as it should. Some things are a little slow, like the power windows, due to not being used for sometime. They work better each time tried. Headlights open and close as they should as well. Once again, they were slow at first, but are fine now. Original paint. The clearcoat is falling off the car. This is fairly common on GM cars of this era. It wouldn't take much to bring this car back to "like new" condition, by having it resprayed. These GTs are rising in price as you read this. Located in NE Ohio, zip code 44281. Terms are: No Shipping. You can arrange it yourself. Winning bidder has 30 days free outdoor storage to either come and get it or have it picked up.Full payment is due within 3 business days via PayPal, cash in person, or certified funds. car will not be released until funds clear my bank. Sold in as-is, where is, condition. (It's a 31 year old car, and I'm no dealer!) Someone is going to get a collector car with lots of upside potential here, in my opinion. Good luck!On Mar-24-17 at 06:19:15 PDT, seller added the following information: Update. I was asked to provide pix of the shock towers, so I removed the "screens" today and took 2 photos. They have been added to the listing. Thanks.
