Looks are deceiving with this beautiful and classic 1989 Toyota Celica GT Convertible with Low Miles. This Celica is a great project car for the love of its life and too good to give away to the scrap yard. I'd like to see it go to someone that will give it more life. This Celica ran through a few Chicago winters faithfully and feels great with the top down on a warm day. I bought this Celica in 2011 with plans to restore it, I replaced some of the mechanical parts. After my scheduled changed, I lost the time to put into it. The car sat in the garage for three years, I started driving it again in 2016 then parked it last December. Due to damage to my garage, I cannot put the car on the inside. It needs body work, mechanical work, tires and weather seals all around. There's one full spare tire in the trunk on a basic rim (not a Toyota rim). The engine leaks oil, two estimates came back with the same repair price (July 2016). The top is in good condition and does not leak water, needs mechanical repair. Toyota would be proud to know this car is still around with low miles (in my opinion). This Celica will be sold as is, No Refunds.
