I have finally come to terms with selling my best friend. I have owned this Excursion since 2002(2nd owner) and Just purchased a New truck, The kids are gone and I pretty much don't need this monster sitting around doing nothing......so here you go, hopefully , it will go to someone who enjoys it as much as we have. This is a 2001 Ford Excursion Limited 4X4 with the 7.3 liter Navistar Diesel. THE best vehicle I've ever owned, and I've had many. It has 2 Brand new 5 year batteries ( 1 week old), New Michelin Tires with about 3k on them. Has drilled and slotted rotors on front. Brakes were done at around 150k. Both front seats Bottoms were replaced at local Ford dealer (Leather started getting cracks), Has had new WARN lockout hubs installed 3 months ago. Truck has BULL BAR mounted up front. Interior is VERY clean. This vehicle has ALWAYS had regular services and been Garaged. Southern Truck, never been in snow, salt or ash. . The fuel tank was dropped and the SOCK in the fuel tank was replaced (dealer recommendation) at 150k. The upgraded FORD air filter was installed several years ago. It's bigger and lets the diesel breath better. . It gets detailed on a regular basis, just to keep her fresh and looking pretty. This truck runs like a new one-if you know anything about 7.3's, you know this is the best diesel Ford ever put in a truck. 170k is just getting broken in. This truck has never let me down, EVER. I've never had a flat with it. It carry's 8 people comfortably and gets 22 MPG on the Highway. NEVER been wrecked or in an accident. Everything works properly, including all windows, door locks, A/C, Heater, Stereo/CD sounds great (always has), power seats-all good to go.
