Vehicle Detail
The car was purchased in May 2011. New tires and brakes were installed at that time. Radiator was serviced. Tires are still good with little to no wear. Brakes function as expected. Overall, the body is in good shape with little surface rust. The exterior needs paint and some body work to the front and rear valances. New valances are included. The hood and trunk lid needs adjusting. Over the left front tire, is a dent that was repaired with bondo. This and the valance damage occurred prior to my ownership as well as a small rust spot on the bottom right door behind the front wheel. The glass is in good shape with a chip in the windshield and a scratch on the drivers window. Many new interior pieces are newly installed. The new headliner was installed around 3 years ago, new visors, rear view mirror, dash pad, instrument bezel, seats have been re-upholstered, as well as new carpet. Sound deadening material was laid when carpet was installed. The floor pans were solid with no rust. A/C is cool, but not cold. Updated radio and speakers, and is wired for a power amp (amp not included). Rear interior panels have been painted and new window levers installed. Odometer works and currently reads 36,xxx and will increase as I do drive the car. The car has had a fresh transmission service, recently rebuilt carb, new battery, new fuel pump, new plugs, wire set, distributor cap, rotor button, Pertronix Ignitor ignition and Pertronix Flame Thrower coil, new voltage regulator, new solenoid, and new starter. The exhaust manifold is leaking, and could most likely use a new exhaust system front to back. The following will come with the car to complete it:Front "Ford" lettering, grille, grille corral and trim, lower valance, new chrome bumper, left and right side "Mustang" lettering and pony, exterior mirror, new radio antenna, new left and right door handles, rear tail light bezels, back up lights, rear lettering, pop open gas cap, rear chrome bumper, and rear valance. "Magnum style" wheel covers will also come with the car. White racing stripe will come with the car as well. Interior door panels, arm rest pads, door levers, and window handles, wood steering wheel, turn signal cam (turn signals currently only work manually), window piping trim, dome light needs to be installed as the guy that installed the headliner forgot to do this.I will also include an assortment of screws, fasteners, etc. I've traveled around 200 miles round trip in the car several times with no issues. Having said that, I don't know if I would recommend driving it across country or anything like that. I feel I have represented the car properly and thoroughly as possible. Any and all shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer! I will be willing to meet the shipper for them to load the car. Please consider that you are getting a classic Mustang that has been partially restored as well as the remaining interior and exterior pieces needed! I tried to publish two videos I took this morning, but I can't get them to upload. The first is a cold startup. You can search on YouTube 1967 Mustang Cold Startup and look for the video published March 2. It is a 20 second clip. The second is a walk around video of the car idling. You can search 1967 Mustang Walk Around. It was also published March 2, and is 45 seconds long. Thanks again!!
