1974 Ossa Desert Phantom. Purchased this a few yrs ago to fix and ride in vintage cross country events. It kinda turned out too nice for me to ride. Every nut and bolt has been replated, repainted, rechromed, replaced, or powder coated. Hubs powder coated, new bearings, Buchanan spoke sets, new tires. Frame/swingarm powder coated. New Betor rear shocks, New Chain/spkts, all cables are new as well as handlebars, levers, new seat cover on perfect pan. Exhaust/silencer are perfect. Skid plate is dent free. All body parts are still fiberglass and professionally painted with new decal kit. One small blemish on front fender in clear coat but still much nicer than when it was new. The motor was a complete rebuild and performed by Alex Snoop. The rod upgrade was also done. The only things not really original to the bike are the Bolger Chain tensioner, compression release, and I put a spark plug holder on it. Someone welded the nut on one side of the rear axle and put a rod on it and the front axle to aid in removal. It was something we use to do back in the day so I just left it and had it replated as it was. Bike turned out nice. I've never ridden it and only started it once on a bottle . Tank has not been sealed and did not leak prior to painting. Paint is perfect and I'm afraid to seal it.
