1985 Mercedes Benz 300d. This is the last model year with the classic Mercedes W123 chassis and body style.Only 2 owners and all service records available. Used as a daily driver. Mileage is around 300,000 miles. The odometer sticks periodically so exact mileage is not known but readout of 279,354 is close to actual miles.4 new tires purchased in October. Air conditioner rebuilt in 2003 (unit needs Freon, however so does not blow cold). Has power windows, radio antenna, and sunroof. Antenna and sunroof motors replaced in 2014.Midnight blue paint and dark blue interior. Interior is in very good condition except for cracks in dashboard, which is very common for this color dash. Needs: AlternatorDriver's side door strikerRear passenger power window does not workClear coat on hood is wornNew fog lamp bulb on one sideFreon Low retail value for the car is around $4500 (NADA) so I am asking 4000 because of alternator replacement cost estimate by mechanic. However, if buyer pays $4500 I will have my mechanic replace the alternator before the car is picked up by the seller. Once the alternator is replaced the car will function as a comfortable daily driver in city or highway. The only reason I am letting it go is because I have nowhere to easily park it and it no longer suits the needs of our family. Selling as is and am willing to negotiate price.
