**NOW ON YOUTUBE! ("My 1956 Ford P-350") Three years ago, I purchased this 60 year-old van from a seller in Arizona where it sat in the dry desert. I intended to build this vintage delivery van into a food truck and instructed my mechanic to get it running, upgrade the suspension, rewire the essentials,(the gas gauge is not accurate, but speedometer and heat gauge works,) Replace mechanical parts, brakes, gas lines, clean and restore the gas tank and rebuild the carburetor. All of this was completed. Solid ( No collision damage) aluminum body and floor. The metal trim pieces are rusting, but they can easily be replaced. I have driven this truck several times without problems-I drove it 150 miles last week! After spending more than $12,000 on this project, I bought another vehicle that I am intending to restore and I am now focused on that project. This vehicle has a complete vintage look and if a buyer is seeking a unique truck that has enormous potential-this is it. I have not seen another available in person. The internet describes the Ford P-350 as a work horse that was a large, nimble truck that serves many uses. I make no guarantees with this vehicle, it is 60 years -old and I am selling as is.
