When you're looking for the ultimate in cargo carrying capability without sacrificing comfort and reliability, your search will begin and end with a Ford truck that's powered by the legendary 7.3 Powerstroke diesel engine. This '01 F250 XLT has all the comforts you've come to expect like power seat, keyless entry, power windows/locks/seats, tilt/cruise, etc. plus it's a big supercab so it has the crew and cargo carrying capability that you need. It also has real four wheel drive too with 3.73 limited slip differentials. Best of all, it's got a 7.3 POWERSTROKE DIESEL engine that runs great! This is no stripped-down work truck. It's loaded-up with many upgrades such a bedliner, fog lights, block heater, and more. There's even a factory AM/FM Stereo CD/Cassette plus a console between the front captain's chairs. The bed is protected by a nice bedliner plus it has never been cut for a 5th wheel or gooseneck hitch so you don't have to worry about it having been used to haul heavy loads. The tailpipe on the factory exhaust we bent so we upgraded the exhaust system with a full length 4" turbo-to-tailpipe exhaust system for more power and a better sound. It has a bullet muffler too so it doesn't sound blatty or loud. This truck was traded-in at a local dealer on a new one. You can look high and low before you find another six speed F250. Most of the 6 speeds you find are in duallys not 3/4tons like this one. It has a granny 1st for when you're pulling heavy loads plus overdrive. These 7.3 engines are practically unbreakable. We see them all the time with half a million miles or more. Don't let the 279k on the odometer worry you, it runs great and has no blowby! We regularly see these trucks with 400-500,000 miles and running strong. It's a Southern truck so there are absolutely NO RUST HOLES OR RUST BUBBLES.
