I bought this car back in October from a friend in financial distress. She owned the vehicle since 2013. I've drove the car a few times and it runs and drives great. This a sharp and good looking ride. The convertible top works great, windows work, radio, lights, whippers all work great. This is a 17 year old car so it's not perfect but it does run and drive good. The engine sounds clean and the transmission shifts good but there is slight noise when the car shifts from 1st to 2nd but it doesn't hesitate shifting it goes straight into gear everytime. It doesn't kick out or shudder. Despite making the little noise, It shifts into gear beautifully. I'm not familiar with these kind of cars so i don't know if its normal. But i don't think it's anything to be concerned about. The A/C currently does not work. The compressor is good. There's a bracket that hold the A/C tennsioner pulley on that's broke. It's a $30 part on ebay. The a/c runs off it's own pulley system seperate from the water pump and fan. The driver seat doesn't move, the little electric motor is bad. Another $30.00 part on ebay. The seat is all the way back. I'm 5'7 and i can reach the pedal but it could be a problem for someone whose shorter unless it was fixed soon. Check engine light is on. I've had it checked by 2 different auto facilities and there was nothing that came back on the diagnostics. It's not throwing any codes. The engine sounds beautifully and it runs beautifully. It has lots of power. I've drove it several time up to 3 hours at a time and never had any problems out of it. It is a good running car. One of the tail lights has a small hole in it, the light still works, nothing major. One of the reflectors has a crack in it. Other than that its a very clean car. Fun to drive. Spring is around the corner and here's a chance to get a sharp good looking convertible just in time for spring. I encourage everyone to come out and test drive before bidding. All test drives are to be done before auction ends. Once auction ends the sale is final. The only way to drive it is to pay for it. No Exceptions. Sorry!!!
