Up for auction is this pampered biarritz white 2000 Porsche Boxster S. The Porsche was sold new at Hendrick Porsche in Charlotte, NC. After 7 years and just over 21,000 clicks on the odometer my friend purchased the car, flew to N.C. and drove the car back to Bakersfield, CA. He described it as a trip of a lifetime! The car was a present for his wife and for the next 9 years she cherished the Boxster. Always garaged, hand washed weekly and floor mats carefully wrapped in black Martha Stewart bath towels. I purchased the car for my wife in late 2015. After a 2 hour in service on how to wash, drive, shift and put the top down, a new set of Martha Stewart towels and many tears from the previous owner’s wife I drove the car home with the odometer showing just over 85,000 miles. A year of ownership and just over 3,000 miles have passed since our purchase and my wife has decided she would rather have a vintage travel trailer than the Porsche. There is the expected paint chips on the lower leading edge of the front spoiler but other than that perfect. I am a collector of American Muscle cars and have acquired an appreciation for the torque, raw horsepower and rumble of those old Detroit icons.
