PCA member selling my 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet with a 6 speed manual. The car has been a daily driver and currently sits at 158,000 miles. It also has the following notable options among others:220 - LSD limited slip differential224 - ABD automatic braking differential (traction control)437/438 - 8 way adjustable driver and passenger seatsLet's start with the bad and save the good for last:- The car was in a rear end accident in 2000 and gained a salvage title. The car has been repaired since then. When I purchased the car I had a PPI performed and the only sign of damage was a slightly bent rear bumper mount. - The brakes will need to be replaced in the next year.- There is a small leak on the power steering rack.- There is a small tear on the driver's side bolster.- The paint is in so-so condition. The clear coat is beginning to peel off on the passenger rear fender and the rear wing. Also some idiot tried to peel off the clear bra on the front of the car and removed about a 2"x2" section of paint surrounding the driver's side headlight, hence the leather bra. It never bothered me too much since I use the car as a daily. - The passenger side seat switch is broken. I have a replacement in hand but haven't installed it yet. The good:- Besides the damage to the rear bumper mount, the PPI I had performed found no other mechanical issues with the car.- The entire roof was replaced last year.- The car has new BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2 with less than 2000 miles on them.- Despite the driver side bolster, the rest of the interior is in great condition.
