1975 BMW R90S in excellent operating condition. Bike has been dual plugged and upgraded to a Dyna electronic ignition with Dyna coils. Engine and frame numbers match. Engine is in excellent shape; very smooth, no smoke. Clutch is fully operational, not slipping but showing signs of wear. Headlight switch is broken, but light has been hardwired to come on with ignition. Odometer is not functional and reads 88,000 but approximate mileage is 100,000+. Cosmetically the bike looks like it has 100,000 miles on it with NO dents in the the tank or fenders. Paint on body and frame shows signs of age. Bike is in vintage condition. Please see pics for close ups of condition. Side covers are missing. I am the second owner of the bike, which has been the last 2.5 years. Previous owner bought it off the showroom floor in 1975. Since acquiring the following has been done: -Brand new set of Avon Road Runner tires including new tubes-Rebuilt front forks using progressive springs and new bushings-Replaced steering head bearings -New clutch cable -Rebuilt and cleaned the carburetors-New air filter-New inline fuel filters Last service:-Changed all fluids (engine, transmission, drive shaft, final drive and fork oil)-Timed the ignition-Tuned and synced the carburetors-Torqued the head bolts-Adjusted the valves -Replaced all spark plugs-Bled the brake lines -Lubed all control cables
