Single owner 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with every option I could order at the time (except the chrome). V8 4.7 HO engine (see below) and Quadra-Drive. Inferno Red Tinted Pearl Coat exterior. Sandstone (tan) interior. It is almost 15 years old and has just over 101,000 miles. There are three important issues. 1) The engine is in bad shape. It seems the timing chain broke and has done internal damage. It does start and run very poorly. You can not drive it home. 2) It has body rust on the left side behind the rear door. See the photos. 3) I might be able to deliver it for a fee within a reasonable distance but it would be better and cheaper if you arranged for transport. I'm sad to see my WJ go. It was a fun Jeep but it is time for something newer so I'm not fixing this one. It is parked in Hartford. You may inspect and ask questions before you bid, not after. Replace the engine or use it for a parts car. Includes original manuals, 2002 sales brochure and other docs, three keys and two remotes, rear cargo cover, wheel locks, cabin air filter, roof rack cross bars, and cargo liner. Recent new parts:Driver's seat and power slider unit (old unit had broken frame problems) .Driver's power mirror (so memory works correctly)Wider all-season tires, 255/60R17 Nankang SP-5.Brakes front and rear: rotors and pads (using updated Akebono calipers)Front end refresh: axle shafts/CV joints/seals/wheel hubs/ball joints.Redhead steering gear box, Moog tierod/link, tierod ends, drag links ends.Edelbrock IAS shocks, front/rear (new old stock). Front shock pin bar eliminator.Windshield wipers, front and rear (with new rear arm). It drove great, stopped great, was very smooth at full highway speeds (up to speed limiter). All recalls have been done, airbags have never deployed. Glass is good. Non-smoker car. Interior looks great. Seat heat may or may not work (hard to tell) and there is a problem some of the radio speakers (they are old). It has the usual paint chips, nicks, and little issues that any old city car has. Heater box recirculate does not work correctly. AC is very cold and heat works well. The spare tire has never been used and is a matching factory rim with TPMS and a real full size tire.
