Nearly everything replaced or redone. I rode this bike from Louisville to Alaska and back, washed off most of the bugs and dirt, and don't think I have washed it since. As you can see, a ridiculous amount of money has been spent in the last 20,000 miles making this bike a much better than stock GS with all of the weak points addressed--i.e. driveshaft, charging system, transmission, etc. These bikes were great stock, though with a few changes are amazing to ride all day long. The history is as below (except for yearly oil changes and such), and it has been stored with carbs drained, fuel stabilizer in tank, battery charger, and I will change all fluids and have the bike in running order upon sale. The pros: All serious work performed by master BMW mechanic at WUMA -- BMW engineer and mechanic in IN (Guenther _____). E-mail me if you need his last name--very well known. Sturdy, true work mule and can be ridden anywhere. Ready to go. The cons: Rock hole in headlight lens, dirty as can be. Addition: today, Jan 2, in prep for sale, I am doing the yearly changing of oil and filter, draining tank and adding fresh fuel and stabilizer. The bike started immediately. I have added photos.
