1985.5 Porsche 944 Vehicle has about 120k miles. I purchased the car recently as an occasional driver for weekend use, but I'm realizing that I don't have much time for it. Previous owner did a lot of work (supposedly including brakes, clutch, and timing belt). Car was garage kept. I drove it home to NJ from Connecticut in stop and go traffic on I-287, and I drive it to work maybe once a week. The car is 30 years old and far from perfect, though, but I believe it's a good, honest driver. It has some minor cosmetic issues and is sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied. Local pick-up only. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. The car is just as I bought it, with a few more hundred miles on it. Tires are good but getting old. Headlights pop up. Radio, HVAC, rear defroster, power mirrors, and odometer are all inoperable at the moment; I bought the car this way and did not feel these items were essential on a Sunday driver. The car would make a great weekend vehicle, track car, or even a daily driver/rolling restoration project. Drive it as-is or work on it this winter. Other issues include a cosmetic hit to the front bumper (hardly noticeable in pics), torn seat cushions, cracked dash, a rear window that has started to separate from its aluminum frame, spiral scratching on paint, weak reverse and second gear synchros (only noticeable when the car is cold), and a slight clunk over some dips from the front right suspension (sounds like maybe a strut mount or balljoint). I'm trying to be as honest as possible representing this vehicle. This is a much more detailed account of the car than I received before going up to CT to purchase it, and I had no regrets about buying the car or qualms about its condition. It's not perfect, but it seems like a good and honest car with no real rust that I can find. I'm only selling it to free up some space and pay down some debt.
