NO RESERVE You are bidding on an extremely rare 1 year only Triumph TR5Mx they were built for one year only after the takeover of BSA by TriumphThe BSA Model was a B50 MX motocross bike the Triumph was basically the same bike This Triumph as far as I can see is almost unused. It comes with original tires age cracked ( back is flat) and the original sticker on the frame with BSA disclaimer and comfirming the frame number......and you can also see on the headstock the made in England transfer. Matching numbers Bike this is over 40 years old and has original stickers !!!If you look closely at the nuts and bolts they show no sign of ever being undone, the bike kicks over, clutch is free and it shifts through gears, I have not tried to start the bike but winning biidder must expect to clean carb, get a spark etc, the compression does not feel as strong as i would think, I expect the rings are stuck in the piston grooves from sitting or a sticky valve, and it will need a kickstart spring.The tank has original paint and is nice with no dents on top or sides but does have the "normal" BSA dents where the fork tubes touch the front...RH tube shows some wear. All original fuel lines and ferrulesrear of exhaust is not originalchrome is pretty good , front is fine, rear rim has a couple of rust spots, the original seat has a rip on RH side, see photos,please ask any questions before bidding,Buyer to arrange all collection.It does come with a clear ohio title not in my name
