It's time for a downsizing. This is a wonderful running, original 1974 Mercury SR (Slide Rail) 440. Merc 440 S-R. I cannot keep them all. Equipped with the original CCW/Kioritz 440cc fan cooled two stroke engine with 36hp. It is an excellent runner, and starts instantly with a pump of the primer. All lights, brake lights, and brakes, are working as they should. Clutches and carb are original to this sled. This machine is completely original, and miles are thought to be low, since all components are stock, original, unrestored, and complete. There are no gauges, so actual, correct miles are not known. The only thing replaced were some of the fuel lines, and the original carb was cleaned. Nothing has been touched up or replaced, so it qualifies as a "Survivor". The original seat needs work, and the original windshield has a small crack in the bottom right, but it stays solidly in place. The front of the pan also has a crack. It does not affect the hood. There is no reserve beyond the opening bid price. Thanks.
