Vehicle Detail
Selling my 1982 Porsche 911sc targa. It's been a truly wonderful car - makes me want to go out on drives just to drive. It has been super reliable and I (as well as both previous owners) have driven it anywhere and everywhere without worries. Has some nice upgrades: RS style lightweight carpet throughoutRS style leather door panelsMomo steering wheelHargett shifter with Wevo shift coupler Rennline pedal set Lightweight fiberglass Targa tooRUF Yellowbird style front bumper H4 headlights with euro lensesCarbon fiber fixed back seats Engine:3.0 Carrera timing chain tensioners930 lower valve coversMSD ignition Mocal front oil cooler Lightweight Odyssey battery in smugglers boxStainless steel headersDansk sport muffler (sounds incredible) Suspension:Elephant racing spring platesStrut tower brace930 tie rodsBilstein shocks/strutsSmart Racing hollow torsion bars (23mm front and 29mm rear) 16 inch BBS wheels (7" front/8" rear) with fresh Continental extreme contact DW tires The car has records dating back from 20 years ago in California where it was used primarily as a track event car a few times per year (always driven). Then the car came to Texas and the previous owner used it as a track day car as well (always driven). I bought it, removed the bolt-in cage, and have used it as a fun weekend and back roads car. Took it to a few autocrosses and just drove it out of town to visit friends and enjoy the drive. It's reliable and I have no worries about this car. It has some scuffs - mainly the front bumper. One scrape on passenger wheel well rear (pictured). Paint is not perfect but as one friend said, it is 'perfectly imperfect.' As typical with these cars, drops a few drips of oil when parked. No rust whatsoever and bottom panel is straight and original. I love driving it and it handles and feels so amazing and connected on the road. Ac, as with most of these cars, has been removed and the only tunes come from the sweet exhaust note. Ask any questions that are needed and if specific pictures are wanted, I'll be glad to send. I'll help with any shipper of your choice or make this a fun fly and drive home. Clear title in my name.
