For sale is a 2003 Honda CRV EX All Wheel Drive. Engine needs valve job, it is running rough & only running on 3 cylinders due to low compression in cylinder #1. Check engine light is on and has code P0301 misfire cylinder #1. Compression test was done and cylinder #1 has only 25 lbs compression. Cylinders #2,3 & 4 all have 165 lbs compression. Leak down test was done on cylinder #1 and air is coming out tailpipe indicating bad exhaust valve. Valve cover was removed to inspect valvetrain & valve adjustment, also found scoring on exhaust lobe for cylinder #1 so exhaust cam will need replaced also. Very faint tick is coming from the rocker on the worn cam lobe. Other than misfire engine is quiet & no smoke. Mechanically the rest of the drivetrain works as it should, transmission shifts smoothly, front & rear differentials are quiet and drives well. Tires have 75% tread left, A/C & heat work fine. Exhaust is solid & quiet. Overall the rest of the vehicle is in great condition.The body is extremely clean with no rust at all, has a couple very small door dings that are hardly noticeable. Front hood & windshield have a few small stone chips that would be expected with mileage. Interior is great shape no rips or tears. Power sunroof, stereo is a Pioneer with remote control.
