Give the gift of speed this year! So I've got a 2003 Jaguar XJR R1 for sale. I picked it up about a year ago as something to tinker with in my spare time, but between my schedule and priorities changing, I just don't have the time anymore and I have to free up the cash. It's not a project car by any stretch, but it does need some love. It runs and drives well, the 4.0l supercharged V8 pulls strong and is extremely quick. The only fault I've found with the engine is that the drivers side valve cover gasket has a small oil leak. The transmission shifts smoothly. All of the electronics except the subwoofer work, and I'm pretty sure the sub problem is just a bad speaker - the amp channel is good. The body is in fair shape, considering it's a 13 year old car with 147,000+ miles on it. It has some dents and dings, for sure. The PO said he was in a low speed front end fender bender, the grille has a crack, there's a dent in the quarter panel by the headlight, and there's a dent in the hood. But the airbags did not go off and there's no damage to the structure of the car. This car does have the R1 performance package which includes upgraded Brembo brakes with drilled rotors, upgraded suspension, stainless braided brake lines, and 18" BBS Milan wheels. I hate to sell it, this is the second XJR I've had and I love these cars, but it's just the most sensible thing to do right now.
