1972 lemans convertible, rare optioned car, has air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes, power top, power windows, tilt wheel, bucket seats and console, factory rally wheels .also has a real glass rear window in top. this is a good car to restore, or just drive as is. I believe it to have the original drivetrain. I purchased this car from an older woman who's husband had died after taking this car apart to restore it. I purchased it and reassembled it. this car has had body work done in the past, normal rust repair on bottom of fenders and doors. needs to be redone. this is basically a solid car worth redoing. hood is rough as you can see in the pictures, it sat outside while car was torn apart. does have new front suspension parts and new front brakes and new tires and newer dual exhaust system. I originally listed this car as not running, it sold and the buyer never paid for it.... so I purchased the necessary things to make it run and drive. the engine runs extremely well. very smooth, no noises, no smoke, not even any lifter noise when I first started it. I installed a new brake master cylinder and bled the brakes. I changed the transmission fluid and filter, i installed new fan belts and radiator hoses, and a new fuel pump, and new battery cables, and put fresh ant-freeze in it. the power top still works and the transmission seems very solid.
