Here is as close as you can get to going back in time to buy a new SVT Lightning! I'am the original owner, truck was purchased new in June 2002 from Phil Fitts Ford in New Castle, PA. It has 1,038.5 original miles on it! All the original equipment down to the tires, hoses, belts, filters, battery, etc... are the factory installed pieces just as it was brand new. It has never been in bad weather. No repairs or rust ever. It also has the factory literature/documentation including the window sticker and SVT Certificate of Authenticity, both laminated when new to preserve them. The condition of the truck is as good as you can get. I have included a few photos of the underside where you can see the factory stickers and paint dabs are still there as it came down the assembly line. The truck is a 2002 Lightning, Black with Gray suede/black leather insert interior. These trucks came loaded with power everything, cruise, AC, 10 CD disc changer, automatic tansmission and 3.73 rear axle. It has the optional factory installed bed cover. Of course it is powered by the 5.4L Supercharged V8. I have kept this Lightning in storage and under a cover since new. Currently in a heated garage. As such, the original battery no longer holds a charge but will run if jump started. I did not replace the battery as I wanted to save the original. In addition, you can see in one photo that I have included a scratch on the underside of the right front fascia. This occurred while moving the truck in the garage and an object was stuck on the floor which caught it. This scratch is not readily visible from the top. I took a low angle picture so the buyer can see it fully. The right rear quarter panel has a small area where the factory clear coat is checking a bit. It is too small for pictures to show. There is a slight vibration from the tires from sitting which improved with driving but they are the original 15 year old tires after all. There is next to zero tread wear on them and no dry rot or cracks as they were not exposed to UV rays being stored indoors all this time. This Lightning has under 1,100 miles on it! For a 15 year old vehicle it doesn't get much better than that. It has never been modified in anyway nor ever abused. If you are looking for an unmodified, all original Lightning then this is it! Not a single nut or bolt has ever been turned on it ar had a wrench on it. Smells factory new inside and even has the residue from the window sticker still on the inside of the window! This Lightning is located in Warren, OH. Buyer is responsible for all transportation. Taxes are also the winning bidder's responsibility per their State of residence.
