For sale our high mileage Saab 9-3 2.0T convertible coupe. Low starting bid and no reserve. It was my wife's daily driver until recently when it started throwing engine codes and would sometimes drain the battery overnight. I put on a battery doctor device that seems to keep that from happening. but the computer or ecm seems erratic. I just don't feel the car is reliable without some attention. Forgot to mention it has a new AC delco gel battery. It also has a small oil leak of a couple drops every night. I've recently read that the turbo will need a rebuild around this mileage which may solve the engine light .. on the plus side it drives very nice, very peppy and great gas mileage, cold ac, nice interior, top opens and closes, good door locks and auto trunk pop nicely, transmission feels great also. When you go over rough bumps or potholes you can hear that it could use rear swing arm bushings or something. brakes are great, drives nice at any speed also. I think whoever bids should realize that the car will need some attention before it will be reliable. I want to be honest about that as I've had quite a few sellers fail to mention things. the tires are going to need replaced probably next year I was thinking. Also just changed the plugs and bought coil packs but not installed... also bought backup alternator and starter because I like to have spares and will come with if wanted. There is a touchup area on the drivers side rear quarter panel that hides where they did not put enough paint from the factory at the edge of the convertible door. Exhaust system is in great shape no rust there either. and has factory quiet sound . I also put the K&N stock type air cleaner in the factory cold air setup. also it shows a left rear taillight message but all the brake and running and turn signals and headlights...all good. Comes with 2 remotes but one shows wear and could use a replacement sleeve cover. This car has always been registered in Florida. and not driven north of Texas So rust is not an issue. also have the papers of maintenance ... always synthetic changes ...oil usage is normal with the small leak....a couple dropps overnight, ive only had to add about 1/2 quart in about a 6 month time at most. Also there is a recall about the airbag on this model, we've been given the notice but its been quite a while with the dealer saying ...when the parts are available..... also the passenger air bag has a not working light on the information center. I took a video of it starting up after sitting a week or so to post once I figure out how.
