Available for your consideration is a 1997 Jeep TJ Wrangler 4x4 powered by a 4.0L 6 cylinder engine backed with an automatic transmission. This Jeep just had a fresh oil change. Nice running Jeep that will provide years of excellent service. Formerly a blue Jeep that was painted black about 6-7 years ago. This paint job is incredible and looks as good as factory if not better it was done by a professional garage in PPG Black Bc/Cc Urethane. At that time many items were added including Hella overhead lights and push bar Hella lights. This Jeep also has chrome hood latches and mirrors. The front and rear bumpers are dual tube rugged aftermarket bumpers. Bushwacker flares and black plastic bushwacker rear body protectors. The top was replaced a few years back. Overall a very nice Jeep with many new items. The tires are all new Uniroyal Liberator A/T 15 inch tires 30 X 9.5 15LT all the way around including the spare tire. A very solid good looking Jeep. A few spots of surface rust starting on the bumpers and one very small spot by the drivers door edge at the window, could actually be brush touched the body of this Jeep is incredibly clean with out rust. The hard top doors make for quiet and safety they were off another Jeep and the trim panels have some discoloration but they look fine. The interior is in nice overall shape with the drivers seat bottom having a few tears. Overall nice and clean with a back seat. The Jeep is equipped with a full console, A/C but not certain if working or not has not been used. Stereo is a very nice aftermarket unit. Jeep has a hitch but really needs to be removed it is not safe and would not advise using the hitch. Couple other things I have noticed is the right front fender flare is missing the marker lamp and the rear third brake lamp needs a bulb and lens..Just a few minor details from sitting. I am selling this Jeep for my brother he has had it stored at my place for a few years now my son starts it often and takes it for a spin but otherwise it is just sitting it will actually be news to him I listed it to sell. He has been talking about selling this Jeep for over a year now but has never taken the time so I will help him say goodbye to his favorite vehicle. Just does not make sense to leave it sit it does the vehicle no good. Someone can drive and enjoy it is a very shapr Jeep that with the auto trans and 4.0 L makes for a good solid reliable vehicle that can be enjoyed he spent a ton of money on this Jeep and will never recover his money but suck is life.. This Jeep has a clean title ready to be transferred to the new owner. If your in the Jeep Market don't let this one slip by.... Great looking!!! My mistake and I am very sorry. I am selling for my brother and had taken down the wrong information on this Jeep this is 2.5L 4cyl engine. Very sorry for the mistake. I have had a lot of questions of the underneath of this vehicle regarding the body mounts and frame. I noticed after having it out on a lift this Jeep has new shocks on the back and looks pretty good and solid overall. The frame seems to be very solid but does have a good share of rust scale nothing new for a vehicle that has sat for some time and has had some time in northeast Ohio. I am having the scale all knocked off to insure no weakness anywhere in the frame. I will then have the frame rustproofed to insure it stays nice without issue. The body mounts are all solid right behind the rear mounts they are very weak and rusted. Once again I want someone to have a very nice vehicle that they can enjoy without worry. I will make certain these areas are all cleaned up without further issues or trouble and will be very certain the Jeep is rustproofed properly so rust will not be an issue with this vehicle. I appreciate all the emails telling me about concerns of these Jeeps and some of the horror stories of frames rusted in two and what not. Overall a very nice Jeep from top to bottom this is a Northeast vehicle so does not look like a Texas or Arizona vehicle underneath but not a rotted out piece of junk a very solid vehicle with typical north east scale that will be removed and rustproofed to once again insure a nice vehicle for the buyer for years to come.
