Vehicle Detail

Ok, so this was a difficult decision for me. My wife finally won. I am listing my 2004 Neon SRT-4 to the highest bidder. PLEASE read ALL of this description carefully and freely ask any questions you want answered. The car itself is a survivor, in near excellent shape. It has spent its entire life garaged. In 2004 there were no options on this car, so it is considered fully loaded. :) This is the 1st year that the LSD was introduced to the SRT-4. Paint in rated at a 9.5 out of 10 and is original. Interior rates at a 9 out of 10. Some of the dash parts were painted red, and if this is not your taste, parts for this car are now very inexpensive and easy to switch out. It has a factory 6 disc CD player and Infinity speakers. The amplifier powering them was removed but the speakers remain. Windows were never tinted. As the title suggest, this is a twin turbo. A DCR (Darrel Cox Racing) twin turbo exhaust manifold is installed with 2 stock turbos. I made about 430whp with this setup with plenty of area under the curve. Shortly after performing a routine oil change, I neglected to double check the oil level and it was low...low enough that I spun a rod bearing. I believe it was the #3 bearing, either way the engine will need to be either rebuilt or replaced. Perfect for the person looking to build the bottom end for more hp. As soon as it happened the car was trailered home and not driven or started to prevent additional damage. My plan was to have a new short block built and installed, however between wife and family and work, I never found the time. Now my wife has "put her foot down" demanding that I sell it. I called one of those places that says they buy cars, they offered me $1200....seemed kinda low to me for a car in excellent otherwise condition...they always low ball. With this said, I will sell the car for whatever price it is bid on. This is an emotional sell for me so the quicker the better. There are a few extras on the car, radiator hardpipe, Eibach lowering springs, Black housed head lights w eye lids/tail lights, powder coated valve cover and intake manifold. There are also items I am including with it.....Fiberglass rear deck wing (specifically made for me) Dog bone motor mounts, upgraded, but not installed spark plug wires and the factory service manuals. I know there are SRTs that can be bought running, however, very very few in this condition. Most are dented/scratch, repainted etc.I will also include the single exhaust turbo manifold if you choose to return it to a single turbo setup. What you WILL need: Down pipe and exhaust, new tires.....these are worn thru to the metal and all I had left to put back on after I sold the aftermarket wheels, and yes the main thing....either a complete bottom end rebuild with a new crank (I cannot be 100% certain of its condition because of the rod bearing, and if it were me, i'd replace it) or a new short block. Cooling system, brakes, head, alternator, every other mechanical part is good. Just needs a new short block. I also have an upgraded 255lph Walbo fuel pump installed...it was professionally modified to flow a good deal more than 255lph...you will need to drain the less than 1/8th of a tank and use fresh fuel, but the pump should be fine. PCM is stage 0 as are the injectors. Please take time to look at the pics, she truly deserves a new home. I wish I had more time and energy to have resurrected her. Car is not driveable and will need to be towed or trailered to its new location. Buyer is responsible for arranging this. I will help on my end as far as ensuring the car is made available to you or your agent on your time schedule. Please keep in mind, it is the space that I need back so it is important that the car is transported within a short period of time. Again, I respond quickly to any questions. Title is free and clear! Thank you for looking. Deposit of $300.00 within 48 hrs
