It has the very rare and highly desirable L82 4 speed matching numbers drive train. The mileage of 57,548 is believed to be correct. The car was originally delivered at Bill Jacobs Chevrolet in Joliet, IL. The previous owner had the car since 1984. All of the original documentation including a maintenance history since 1984 is included. This is a very original car that has been driven only 20,000 miles in the last 20 years. The body panels appear to be original, and line up very good on the doors, hood and headlight buckets. The paint is the weakest part of the car primarily on the driver’s side fender. The rest of the paint looks fine from 5 to 10 feet. We have posted many pictures of the body and paint that show the areas of the paint that need some repair. The frame is typical of a car that has been driven and stored in the Midwest. It is straight and very solid with surface rust, and can be seen in the many pictures that are posted in this ad. This is a true dual exhaust car with 2 catalytic converters. The rear exhaust pipes and Flowmaster mufflers were recently installed. They are connected to headers but the original exhaust manifolds and crossover pipe are included. The interior is original but still looks good. The driver’s seat has the most wear. The dash and door panels look good, and the rear compartment includes the original T-top bags. Also the seat belts have the date code tags. The wheels and tires are in very good condition. The car starts, runs, shifts, drives, and stops well. The brakes have been rebuilt or replaced in the last 90 days. There are many extra parts included with the car that are shown in the pictures. This is a great entry level Corvette which can be purchased on a NO RESERVE auction. It is a highly desirable L82 4 speed and a great color combination car, with low mileage, and lots of documentation. With new paint it could have a market value of about $20,000. It has the very rare and highly desirable L82 4 speed matching numbers drive train. The mileage of 57,548 is believed to be correct.
The car was originally delivered at Bill Jacobs Chevrolet in Joliet, IL. The previous owner had the car since 1984. All of the original documentation including a maintenance history since 1984 is included.
This is a very original car that has been driven only 20,000 miles in the last 20 years. The body panels appear to be original, and line up very good on the doors, hood and headlight buckets.
The paint is the weakest part of the car primarily on the driver’s side fender. The rest of the paint looks fine from 5 to 10 feet. We have posted many pictures of the body and paint that show the areas of the paint that need some repair.
The frame is typical of a car that has been driven and stored in the Midwest. It is straight and very solid with surface rust, and can be seen in the many pictures that are posted in this ad.
This is a true dual exhaust car with 2 catalytic converters. The rear exhaust pipes and Flowmaster mufflers were recently installed. They are connected to headers but the original exhaust manifolds and crossover pipe are included.
The interior is original but still looks good. The driver’s seat has the most wear. The dash and door panels look good, and the rear compartment includes the original T-top bags. Also the seat belts have the date code tags.
The wheels and tires are in very good condition.
The car starts, runs, shifts, drives, and stops well. The brakes have been rebuilt or replaced in the last 90 days.
There are many extra parts included with the car that are shown in the pictures.
This is a great entry level Corvette which can be purchased on a NO RESERVE auction. It is a highly desirable L82 4 speed and a great color combination car, with low mileage, and lots of documentation. With new paint it could have a market value of about $20,000.
