I’ve decided it is time to sell my 1989 Mercedes SL500. 92200 Miles today. One of the more desirable of the older models and still looks great going down the road. This is a very clean car, I would say a 8 out of 10, everything is in good working order. Other than some wear and small worn through hole on the driver’s seat side panel there are no rips or tears in the interior, no stains in the carpet. PS, PB, A/C, cruise, power windows, power top. Gold with matching, removable hardtop, I haven’t had the hard top on since I got it. The dark brown convertible top in fair shape with inside headliner. All hydraulic cylinders for the top were replaced two years ago. The car is all original as far as I know. Both seats are memory seats, each having 3 individual memory positions. Water sensing windshield. Wipers on the headlights, new windshield wiper. Fog lights front and rear. Original radio with cassette and 10 disc CD player in the in the trunk. Dual power rear view mirrors. Plenty of power in the V-8 engine, car handles great, very responsive. I’ve had loads of fun in this car, I drive it on the weekends and on longer trips out of town, I recently took a trip to Dallas and it is a pure joy to drive on the highway but even more fun on a curvy country road. It would easily make someone a nice daily driver. Clear Blue Texas title in hand. Pick up only, will help load for shipping but would not hesitate driving it across country.
