I have for sale a 1969 Pontiac Firebird. The car has a 400 cubic inch V8 motor out of a 1967 Pontiac GTO. The motor is believed to be the high output version which boasts 360 HP. The overall condition of the car is fair. Make no mistake, this one is in need of a good tune-up, interior work, and a new paint job if it is to be a daily driver or show car. This is a solid start for a project car and is priced accordingly. Known mechanical issues with the trans. The transmission has a leak, and has been slipping as of late fairly badly. Likely needs a rebuild. Brakes are really good. The engine starts right up and runs with good oil pressure, and doesn't overheat. No major knocks that I can hear. Tires on all 4 corners are in decent condition. Interior is fairly solid. Headliner droops a little, most of the gauges work, but the front seats need repair. Aside from the paint and engine/trans, this is an original 1969 and in pretty solid condition. Looking for a new home. Feel free to contact with questions.
