Selling a nice driver quality restored Cherokee chief S. These are getting harder to find in this condition. 360, PS, PB, cruise, tilt, 4x4, th400 automatic transmission, quadratrac transfer case. I recently put a lot of time and effort into this jeep and it has several new parts. For starters, I redid the transfer case with a new chain and a mile marker 4x2 conversion with lock-out hubs. I did the timing gears, timing chain, cam gear, HEI conversion, water pump, alternator, power steering pump, power steering gearbox, new carb and a new Interstate battery. I put a carpet kit up front, new glovebox, redid the steering wheel, put in a Bluetooth stereo with front MB Quart speakers. It has a decent new paint job - not show quality, but looks really good and the Cherokee Chief logo is painted on - not a decal. It has General Grabber 33" mud terrains with 90% tread. It has a 4" lift, tow package, working AC, good glass too. It needs a few odds and ends and could use a good detail, but it turns heads as is and has been a reliable driver. It has no rust and I didn't paint the undercarriage so that you can see how great the floor pans etc. are. All the emissions equipment is there, but I have never run it through emissions. It doesn't smoke, runs very smooth and only has a little oil drip from the new oil pan that I installed but apparently didn't use enough rtv :( I'll try to fix that before I ship it out. Other things you may want to do include; new tailpipe from muffler back, fix cruise control, fix window squirters, new felts for all the windows, and the headliner is in great condition, but has some stains so I'd paint that too. The rear window motor works, but is pretty slow/weak. Feel free to reach out to me with additional questions. I can even do a virtual tour for you if you have an iPhone.
