Up for sale is my 2001 Honda S2000. I lost my off-street parking, so I will be living with just my WRX going forward. This car is in perfect mechanical condition and nice exterior condition - however it is not a garage queen. The front end has typical rock chips and while the paint looks great it is not showroom condition. I bought this car at the beginning of the summer from the 3rd owner in Richmond, VA. He had kept the vehicle garaged and drove it to work on clear/sunny days. He told me that the previous owners had the vehicle in Florida and put lots of highway miles driving to and from another home in Virginia. He also provided a very extensive maintenance list which you can see included with this posting. In his words: "I'm the third owner. I purchased it from a retired couple in Keysville VA. They owned it for ~2 years, but didn't drive it much. They told me they purchased it from a local Cadillac dealer in Midlothian, VA. The first owner supposedly lived in Midlothian near me, but purchased in Florida and drove it back and forth frequently. The Carfax report I have was from just after I registered it."I encourage any prospective buyers to come see the car in person and take it for an inspection.Mechanically stock, unmodified, and virgin. No mod list here, just Honda maintenance with OEM parts. It has a Robins top with glass window that is in excellent shape. I still have the stock stereo in a box, but the previous owner added an aftermarket unit with USB and Aux In, and added a 4 channel amp. This drives the two speakers in the door (replaced), and two new tweeters that are behind the head rest (new, 00-01 only had two speakers in the door).Mechanically perfect. The engine is running strong, the transmission feels like a rifle action, the suspension feels tight. It is as good as a 15 year old car gets in my opinion.Not burning through copious amounts of oil. The manual says to check at every fill-up, which I do, and I have not been experiencing anything unusual. I will send you on your way with enough oil that you can have the peace of mind of a fresh first oil change on me.The body is in great shape - no accidents on the Carfax or from what my pre-purchase inspection showed. All of the VIN's around the car match. The interior is in fantastic shape. The steering wheel H has a small indent, the seats have a bit of wear but are good to go.Consumables such as tires and battery are in good shape. This vehicle is ready to be driven - I would take it to California tomorrow (and I wish I could considering the prices out there).The front end was touched up at some point for rock chips/wear and tear, and the front bumper is in definite need of another.
