Vehicle Detail
1993 Mazda MX-5 Miata with 115,000 miles in the Charleston S.C. area. Has been well maintained, but needs servicing. The battery needs to be replaced, but it was driven regularly until it went out. The breaks could also use replacing. The engine still has life in it, but we are not entirely sure what condition it’s in. There is some rusting as well. Other than that, the cars in decent condition. No wrecks, only one owner and the vehicle has been properly serviced over the years. The body is in good condition and only has slight dents and scratches. The back of the convertible top has also been torn as you can see in the pictures. The cars interior is fine. Heat/Ac, radio, cassette player, etc.. all work fine.. The wheels are all matching/decent condition.I'm putting this vehicle up to help my mother get it sold. I don't live in Charleston, but I will handle all contact/issues related to the auction. She or her husband Gary will show up with the keys to either show the vehicle, or hand it over once the auction is done. This is a local auction and the buyer is responsible for transporting the car once it is sold. On Sep-29-16 at 15:42:16 PDT, seller added the following information: Edit. Had some questions about the rust, interior and battery so I thought I'd add them to the listing. The last time it was looked at by a mechanic he informed us that there was rust, but he didn't go much into it. It's nothing visible so we're not sure. We don't know much about cars so it is being sold as is and anyone is welcome to stop by and check it out before bidding. Someone also asked if it could be jump started. The battery died about a yearish ago and it has been sitting since so we're not sure. I assume it would work. The interior has no noticeable damage, but the car has been sitting unused for a year and could use a deep cleaning.
