It has a NOM 350 Cu In and 4 speed manual transmission, it is believed to be a real L46 350/350hp car, based on the tachometer and the dated parts that are installed on the engine. The car went through a body-off restoration in 1985 at which time the color was changed from the original Cortez Silver to Red. The 30 year old paint still looks good, there are some small bubbles in the paint that have developed on the rear deck they can be seen in the pictures. The frame is straight and solid. The chrome and stainless also look very nice. The black vinyl interior also has been restored and still looks good, the major change is that the seats are 1968 and the seat belts are dated 1971. We do not have any history about the reason for the change. The car runs, stops and drives very good, even the A/C blows cold !!!!
