It is a high quality replica made with a U.S. made steel frame from a 1984 GMC Suburban 1/2 ton 4 wheel drive, with locking front hubs and a Military HMMWV 4 Door Cab. This is a street legal truck with a Clear Texas Title VIN 1G5FK16C8EF507932 and you get insurance with the VIN as a GM Suburban. As of 07/17/2016 the truck has11,316 miles since it was rebuilt. Drive TrainThe truck is powered by a balance and blueprinted 5.7LT 350CI motor that runs strong and starts every time. 11,316 miles on rebuilt engine. Mild cam. Unknown on chasis and cab. Transmission is a GM TH/700 R4 automatic. Shifts good. 4x4 works great - locking hubs. 3" Lift kit with tires are huge BF Goodrich LT315/75R16, All-Terrain T/A KO2 34.5 x 17.5 Baja Belted. The tires are mounted on aluminum 8 Lug MT Motoring wheels includes wheel lock lugs. BodyThe hood is fiberglass, and the cab is steel hard top from a 4 door HMMWV military cab with 4 steel up armored doors. The truck is in great shape but no means perfect. The truck has a massive roll bar built into the engine compartment and the cab. It has a crack in the fiberglass hood (see pic) which can be repaired and shown in the pic. The paint looks ok but I recommend getting the exterior Rhino lined or LineX (bedliner paint job). The paint was originally yellow and the outside has been painted over with flat black paint in preparation to be finished with a bedliner paint job. The Cab is still bright yellow. Like all military vehicles, there are some rust issues that have had some repair work completed and some to go. Some minor scuffs or scratches are present in the paint. The truck is a hard top, with steel doors, roll down windows and a rear sliding window. Seats four w/seatbelts. The interior carpet is gray carpet that is about a 4 on scale of 10. Interior was designed to for an off-road vehicle, not the luxury type hummers. The seats have seat covers on non adjustable racing seats. Power steering and Brakes. Brakes stop good/ no squek. -Front Disc -Rear Drum There is a radio and speakers installed but the faceplate is lost and I am not sure if it works. There is a on-board heater from the original Military cab(needs to be replaced with new ac/heating system! Gauges work, Speedometer, Water temp, Oil Pressure, electric. The windshield wippers work as it was built but are not very good at wipping away the rain water. I served in the Marines for 8 years and have owned this Beast since Nov 2010. I have made many upgrades while only driving a few thousand miles. Street legal! Fun toy, starts and drives every time. Very reliable You can buy most parts are available at your local part house, ebay, 4x4 or speed shop. It is easy to customize. I have driven daily in the spring, fall and winter.
