This is a '79 Mercedes Benz 300D 4 door sedan. Everything is original to the best of my knowledge. I've had it since 2012 and only put about 5,000 miles on it. Someone took very good care of this car before me (as did I). It's a great car, in much better shape than most Mercedes of its kind.It runs and sounds great. Interior is in good condition, only a small tear on one seat. Electric windows. Vacuum door locks. AM/FM radio.All vacuum functions work properly (doors, trunk, gas cap are all vacuum controlled).A/C does not work but the heater does. Car has been garaged for the majority of the time I've owned it. No big oil leaks. I keep the oil changed (more than needed probably). The only problem I ever had was the starter died a year or so ago (so it has a new starter). I replaced the fuel filters and did a diesel purge once or twice. I recommend mercedessource website- It's a great place to watch "how to" videos and buy parts. No urgent maintenance needs. Brakes are still good and tires in pretty good shape.Some possible maintenance in the next 1-3 years: Might need brakes. Front tie rods have a little play, but nothing urgent and have been the same since I've had the car. Engine mounts are weak, but have been so since I've had the car. The exterior is in good shape, besides a few scratches and minor dents, minor rust. Nothing major.
