ONE OWNER....not sure why the autocheck says 2, I will have to call them. She financed it for 5 years. This is my wife's car. She bought NEW in early 2005 from a dealer in CT. When we moved to NJ either her or the DMV must have noted the wrong miles. Should have been 166,523, not 16,523 (obviously). She has always worked either 30 or 60 minutes each way to work, so the miles are highway.Book value for these Renegades is about 4K. They made few, and are harder to find....as you can see on ebay, some try to get 6K-8K for Renegades.I will link a website where I will put about 60 photos. I can explain the condition, and I will, but pictures tell the story better. Car has leather interior, Power Sunroof, CD Player, Power windows, AC, automatic, 3.7 liter, Off-Road Lighting, Premium sport wheels.....being the top of the line Sport version of the Liberty the Renegades were pretty decked out. Condition: (see pics for all)Exterior-As you can see it is in very good shape, at least average if not better. There are a couple dings, most notable on the hood. As you can also see it is very solid and clean. Interior-Also in very good shape, at least average if not better. There is a tear on the drivers side seat. Clean. Mechanical-There is a transmission leak somewhere. My wife has to top of the trans fluid of it will slip a little. When it warms up it seems to get better, but if we were going to keep it at this point I would prob. get it fixed (or try to fix it myself). Still gets her all the way to work and back. She is off a lot in the summer so we are going to lease a new van.I am no mechanic, but I was told it was leaking from the trans pan. I bought a kit with a new gasket and trans filter to replace, but I decided not to get into it. I have a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup with about 200K miles. Last year I was having the same issue but worse. I could sit at a light for 5 minutes in Drive and the truck would not go. I thought my trans was shot. Made it to a Trans shop, and sure enough, it was a fluid level problem. It was very low. While it was there I had him change the fluid, fliter, new gasket and I think he tightened the belts in the trans. This cost about $400, so worst case I figured thats what I would spend on the Jeep to resolve the problem.....but again, if you could do it yourself it wouldn't cost you much, seemed to be mostly labor. You can have the kit I bought for it. Sometimes a check engine light goes on due to the low fluid and not shifting properly when the fluid is low because of this issue as you would expect. Passed NJ inspection which is good for another year. I ENCOURAGE YOU TO SEE IT IN PERSON. BEFORE BEDDING BE SURE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE AND I WILL ANSWER AS BEST AS I CAN. As part of a recall they had, the solution was adding this to the truck. I did not complain. Have only used it to put a bike rack on, have not towed a trailer but it is a full size hitch bolted to the frame. I called Autocheck today about the so called "two owner" situation.
