1987 Mustang Convertible. 5.0 5 speed. Rebuilt engine - ford racing heads, long tube headers, x pipe ( no cats), SS exhaust tips, carbureted, cam, aluminum intake, roller rockers, electric fan, no air conditioning. Engine has about 2000 miles on it. Rebuilt T5, new clutch, 3.55 gears, new brakes including master cylinder. Nice leather seats. The paint on the car is very nice - but not perfect. There are a few chips (that have been touched up) and a blemish or two. The car was painted about 5 years ago. I am selling it because I never drive it and have another project on the go. The top is new - I installed it myself. I lost the trim strip that gets tacked on the main bow but I think it looks good without it. Power windows work but could use some adjustment. Power mirrors do not work. There is a radio - but It is a cheap one. It just fills in the space in the dash. The carpet is new. The car drives well and makes great sounds through the gears. Front struts and rear shocks are new. I have a complete set of new polyurethane bushings (not installed) but included. Tires are new. Aluminum rims are new. I noticed a small oil spot on the garage floor when I moved the car this spring. It had been sitting all winter. I just don't want anyone to be caught unaware. The car has no rust. The floor pans have no patches. The car has subframe connectors. The rack and pinion is new as is the power steering pump. The fuel tank is new. Very nice (almost) 30 year old car.
