See video link.Ididit replacement steering column with tilt.B&M floor shifter.Replacement front and rear seats by Bestop with seat belts.Replacement gauges.New wiring harness...entire vehicle.Custom tail-lights/reverse lights (led).Bikini top (sorry, no full top).Stereo with removable face.Paint job is about 2 years old.Durabak textured coating on floor, wheelwells and doors. Pre-tinted to match the red of the Jeep.Had carburetor rebuilt.Replaced distributor.Replaced starter. I purchased this vehicle at least 6 years ago. The entire vehicle (inside and out, including the dash) was coated with a product similar to Herculiner It was very rough and very ugly. The prior owner had converted it from a manual transmission to an automatic. In addition to the work that it took to remove all of the coating, I replaced all of the items from the above list. The floorboards on this vehicle are solid. There is no rust. As shown in the video, this vehicle runs and drives. It is very cool and it gets a lot of head turns. It runs kind of rough and I have replaced some items, attempting to smooth it out (carb and distributor), with marginal improvement. I purchased this for my son during his high school years. Now that he is in college, he needs something more practical, so the Jeep has to go to help pay for the next vehicle. Additional items that need attention. When the prior owner converted from a M/T to Auto, he did not completely finish the project. The path of the current exhaust interferes with the front drive shaft from the transfer case. I have the parts needed to complete the project (Note: the Turbo 400 A/T was an option in this vehicle. It is not a modification and the project should be able to be completed relatively easily). Another item that needs attention is the fuel tank. The tank looks like it is a replacement, but when I replaced the sending unit, it did not seal well. The filler tube also needs replacing. Thanks for looking/bidding! On Jul-06-16 at 10:20:40 PDT, seller added the following information: Added 7/6/16. To be clear, while this vehicle does run and drive, it is not currently a daily driver. It will take some work to bring it to that point. If you have any questions, please ask and I will answer to the best of my ability. On Jul-07-16 at 09:34:37 PDT, seller added the following information: The question has been asked..."what do you mean..."it will take some work to bring it to that point?" Answer: It runs rough and i have addressed the carb and distributor with marginal improvement. It still runs rough and overheats driving across town on a hot day. I am not a mechanic and have reached the top of my expertise. It is my opinion though that the Jeepster needs engine work. Lastly, as stated in the video, the Jeepster is legally registered in Calif, but it is on a "non-op" status. It cannot legally be on the street until the DMV is notified that the vehicle is operational. With this in mind, along with the operational limitations of the Jeepster, I would suggest that the winning bidder trailer the Jeepster when you take possession.
