1983 ELDORADO CONVERTIBLE Dark Blue mist professional paint job (flawless) 1984 Oldsmobile Toronado 307 engine The Old DT4100 engine was Cadillac's worst engine ever so I replaced it with the dependable and powerful 307. New white top with parade boot. Extra keys including original ones New white wall tires and original spoke hub caps with centers also original spare and jack with covers Air ride and good shocks newer brakes and new master cylinder. No rust all chrome is great. Clean trunk and pretty good interior. Power seats locks, windows, trunk , steering, brakes, new gas pedal cable AIR pump removed New valve cover gaskets. New headlights, all lights work. New wipers New exhaust including muffler and resonator, hangers, donuts and bolts . Has just a little rumble to it. New plugs and wires, new HEI ignition New front hubs and rotors new starter, water pump, thermostat belts and hoses including heater hoses. Fuel lines replaced and tank flushed. Rebuilt carburetor New motor mounts all new plastic fillers on front and rear paint shop matched to paint New hood and trunk support gas pistons New rear speakers and stock am/fm/cb radio This car is kind of rare It is a Hess and einhardt conversion convertible Since GM did not make convertibles in the 80's It has all the hard stuff done just needs some cleaning and TLC. The radio turns on but has poor to no reception even after I put new speakers in. The white seats need a good cleaning and there are a few tears in the side trim interior. The top works fine but it will need the roof rail rubber replaced someday. It has A/C but the compressor and condenser are not installed. Some of the digital dash functions may not work but the gas and speedo work. The fan works but the heat and A/C controls need some attention. It is a fun car to drive and I would drive it anywhere. The paint is perfect and the chrome shines. I have most of the receipts for work done to it
