Vehicle Detail
1972 Pontiac GTO 400 4bbl,3 speed HD Hurst manual,Dual Exhaust,Power Steering/Brakes,AC,tilt,cruise,handling package, front disc brakes,Hurst Shifter, bucket seats and console. This car is straight with quality paint, clean underneath, origional color - Sundance Orange / Black interior,Pontiac GTO floor mats.Four new Cooper Cobra 235/60/15 tires.Trunk has a mat, jack, rally spare with a new tire.PHS documented car includes owner`s manuals, copy of window sticker and papers with specs/info and the origional Build Sheet.I included a picture of it.It has a Kansas antique/historic vehicle title. The vehicle is inspected and issued only to cars that are unaltered. The mileage on the title reads 15,681 actual.I would guess its 115k the odometer reads over 16k now. This car rides and drives great. It needs nothing repaired but its an old car.The engine is powerful -will go over 100 easily.Pontiac Ram Air 3 motor with a quadrajet. No leaks or noises. There are a few upgrades that have been made - cam,MSD ignition,headers-exhaust sounds awesome, engine runs great. The AC works but needs charged/serviced.Everything works on it except the rally clock-it keeps poor time. There is a Sun gauge trio under dash by console.I put a new starter and tires on it this year. The over-all appearance of the vehicle would be described as a very clean driver. The panels are straight and origional. The paint is deep and clean. The chrome on the rear bumper is aged.It had a show-quality restoration years ago but some rust is bubbling in a few spots. The left rear quarter has had rust repair and the front of the hood along the nose. The deck lid is just starting to rust in the decal area and one tiny spot by the back window. The areas are small and hard to see in pictures but they are there. The front of the hood is the most noticeable damage. No holes in trunk or floors.I am not a bodyman so I can`t detail whats been done or what needs to be done to preserve the car.It looks great like it is and gets lots of lookers. This is a rare car with a production of about 1500 three speeds.I would guess not many of those had AC and these options. The interior shows age in places but is nice. The dash is cracked and has a skin covering it.I do not smoke cigarettes or the tires.Sold As-Is to the highest bidder. You are responsible for getting the car home.I prefer a cash sale.Any bank checks will be deposited and given time to clear. This could take a few weeks. The GTO is very reliable and will drive anywhere.Fly-in drive it home.
