The 1971 Camaro was a continuation of the 1970 model that started production on January 5, 1970. The second generation F-cars had a gorgeous design inspired by European sports cars that gave the new Camaro immediate appeal. The sleek long hood, short deck fastback body was longer, lower, and wider than the first generation Camaro.
This Camaro was built at the Norwood Ohio factory during the third week of March 1971. The Camaro has undergone a complele restoration in the past and has been very well cared for. The RS front end and SS badging was been added at that time. The red paint with white Z28 style stripes on the hood & trunk, the body alignment, chrome and stainless are outstanding. The car is equipment with front and rear spoilers
The Camaro was updated with an L Series Fuel Injected-Engine, 5-Speed T-5 manual transmission and goes down the highway like a late model Camaro, 70mph at 1900 RPM, but with the classic 70’s look. The engine upgrades included a Cam Motion Performance Cam, Holley Oil Pan, ZL1 Water Pump, Corvette Power Steering Pump, Corvette Idler Pulley, Serpentine Belt System, LS Retro-Fit Flywheel, New LS Wiring Harness, ECM Mass Air Sensor, Custom Fabricated Cold Air Intake System, Camaro LS throttle body kit, Camaro Intake and Fuel Rail Assembly. The tube headers are mounted to a new stainless steel dual exhaust system with Dyno Max mufflers.
The newly installed L Series Fuel Injected engine has received the all-important diagnostic tests and electronics setup on a dynamometer so the ratios and performance data are tuned for maximum performance and dependability insuring maximum horsepower and torque to the rear wheels.
The engine compartment is extremely clean and has been very nicely detailed. Correct finishes are applied on the engine. The Camaro has an aluminum radiator, electric cooling fan, power steering, four wheel power disc brakes and Vintage Air Conditioning. The transmission is a Borg Warner 5 speed with Hurst shifter, rear axle is a 3:73 with positraction. The wheels are new American 18x7 front and 18x9.5 rear with new 225-40ZR-18 front and 275-40ZR-18 rear Nitto 555 tires. The restoration also included the following new assemblies, drive shaft, brakes, suspension, fuel tank, belts, hoses, rubber, and glass. The black interior is all new to include bucket seats, carpet, headliner, door panels, custom steering wheel, New Vintage USA Detroit Custom Gauge Pod with red back lighting, and a Pioneer MOSFET 45WX4 AM/FM/CD radio.

Payments: A deposit of $1,000.00 US FUNDS (non-refundable) must be paid within 24 Hours of the close of the Auction. When the deposit has been submitted, "Buyer" MUST fax a copy of their valid, state-issued driver's license. The remaining balance must be paid within 7 Days.
Title Information: Vehicle titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments of up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive.
The State of Alabama is a non title state for vehicles 35 years and older. These vehicles will be sold with a bill of sale and tag receipts only.
Finalizing Your Purchase: Winning bidder MUST communicate with us by e-mail or phone within 24 hours of the end of the auction to make arrangements to complete the transaction. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 7 days, we reserve the right to re-list this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer. Before the vehicle is released for shipment to the "Buyer", all sale-related and title-related paperwork must be signed and returned completed to the "Seller".
Shipping and Delivery: All shipping charges are the "Buyer's" responsibility. We will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage! Licensed "Carriers" are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom. All shipping arrangements provided by us are strictly a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the "Carrier" and not with us. The amount of time it takes for delivery depends upon the "Carrier" selected. A typical experience is 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination.
