I am selling my 1970 Buick GS 350 with an automatic trans and the 350 HO 4brl motor. It is an all original numbers matching car that needs little to be really sweet. The paint looks good from about 5' away, with some imperfections that I wasn't too worried about as I wanted a nice cruiser, not a trailer queen. It has no rust, or rot. I have a stack of pictures from when this car was taken down to bare metal and any work that needed done was done. The original owner bought in 1970, and drove till he passed in 1983. His daughter stored in a concrete floored garage for the next 30 years. It was still in good shape when it was pulled out of said garage. then it was taken down to metal, and any rust was repaired. No rot was found, ever. the car still has most of the original factory undercoating on it. I have every receipt from the day it was new, the build sheet, the owners manual, the protect-o-plate, all the old registrations, etc.... basically every piece of paper that had anything to do with this car since it was built I have. Now, it needs a little attention to the interior, the seats have covers on them, but should be re-done, the headliner is out, and the package tray needs to be redone. I have the package tray vinyl and will be included. I also have all necessary parts for a tune up, and a water pump since the one on there leaks. I also have new chrome valve covers and gaskets that will go with it. It does need an exhaust system. It also needs the seal strips between the windows. It also needs a battery tray installed. It's in good shape, and would be an easy full restore, or just clean it up some and enjoy cruise nights. I have decided I want a pre-1975 blazer that is why I am selling. Now I am realistic, its not a Chevelle or GTO, so heres the deal as far as money goes, the buy it now is $8000. The reserve is $7000, I may go a little lower, but if it doesn't sell I will do the water pump, valve covers, and exhaust and the price will go up accordingly. I have it insured for $12000 and was told by my appraiser when he came out that I could have gone to $20000 without a problem which is where it would be if the work needed was done. So your getting your moneys worth at what I want for it. Lemme put it into perspective, I don't need to sell it, but I have found a couple that I would like to buy so I do want to sell this one first. $500 deposit by paypal at end of auction, balance in cash on pickup. All checks will be required to clear the bank before the car leaves, even certified checks will need to clear my bank account before I will allow the car to leave. If your arranging a shipper and want to send me a certified check that is fine, but I must receive it at least 3 business days before the car is picked up. Personal checks will require 7 business days. I will take paypal for the entire amount if necessary, but we will have to split the fees associated with paypal for that large an amount.
