The 2004 Montauk sported an overall ‘Beefier’ design from previous R1200C models with an extra wide front end, larger wheels and tires, ABS brakes with braided brake hoses, heated hand grips, a Comfort Seat, and an additional vertically stacked headlight. Since owning the motorcycle it has been meticulously maintained and garage-kept. I have added a high quality Lee Bailey Aircraft Plastics 19” windshield (original windshield included with sale), along with a pair of Endurance Performance side bags. All mechanical components, lights, gauges and indicators function flawlessly. The Metzeler tires have less than 2,000 miles on them with several riding seasons left. The MotoBatt battery is brand new and was installed with a permanent battery tender cable that is easily accessible by removing the left side grill.
