Please read the information below carefully. I have listed all the information I have on this bike. Bid only if you intend to buy. By bidding you are committing to picking up this motorcycle as a parts or project bike in the condition represented. Selling as a parts or project motorcycle. This bike does not run. Clean and clear title. The bike was previously owned by a custom car shop owner who painted the bike and customized the exhaust to exit on the left side to showcase the single sided swing-arm. This bike was a theft recovery. A friend of mine had it taken from him and the police subsequently recovered the motorcycle and returned it to him. He went on to to buy a brand new BMW S1000R and wants nothing further to do with this vehicle. He provided the original key, a clear and signed title, and a printed out Haynes manual that will convey with sale. The following items need to be replaced at a minimum as they are damaged/missing: Ignition Switch (missing) Gas Cap (the cap is unlocked right now and the locking mechanism has been disabled) Seat release lock (disabled: it opens with any key currently) Turn Signals Mirrors Battery Gear Shift Linkage Brake Lever Clutch Lever Rear Tire The engine does crank with a battery hooked up to it but I did not attempt to get it running. There appears to be an oil leak from the washer at the bottom of the engine where the oil cooler line enters the oil pan (but I cannot verify the exact cause of the leak). Please expect scratches, dirt, and grease here and there and other imperfections. Please... Look at the pictures. This is a parts or project bike and is priced accordingly. I have listed all the information I have on the bike and have no further information regarding what else it needs. The pictures represent part of the description for this vehicle. I was told that the forks were rebuilt a few weeks before it was stolen and a general tune up service was done at a local motorcycle shop. The list of items the motorcycle needs above is just from a cursory examination. If something was missed it is unintentional and will not negate sale.
